I have just had my car back from the OPC who were resolving a couple of issues and whilst it was in there were two 'campaigns' done. One on the rubbers for the luggage compartment which required adjustment in the body shop and another to the gear box (PDK), the details of which were pretty hazy. However, the point of this post is to ask whether anyone has water ingress or condensation in their rear lights. Also, in this 'spring shower' weather I have noticed that I get condensation on the inside of the windscreen when the sunshines on it.

Yes there has been a few recalls, depending on build date. The pdk is a software update, though not been done to my car yet - and the seal to the bonnet has been attended to. I think the rear lights should be a warranty issue, though I've had that on a 997 that cleared itself. No problems with the 991 though. Condensation is a fact of life though, particularly this year!

I think it's often the case with first year production models.

I had one of the very first 964s, 993s and 996s and they each had several minor issues attended to.

I once met the MD of a Porsche Approved reapairer at a Porsche event, who told me that they came across numerous minor productionand trim modifications during the early life of new models.
