I am selling my Porsche 996 Carrera C4 because I have bought a 996 Turbo.

It's a 2001 but year model 2002, facelift, 3.6L engine, C4 coupe, 67,000 miles, tiptronic, full OPC servicing, black with black leather, aluminium pack, and iPod link. I'm the second owner and had it since 2002 when it had done 5,000 miles and I paid pretty much the list price of a new car at the time, as there was a 6 month waiting list.

The body, paintwork and wheels are perfect as you can see from these photos:https://picasaweb.google.com/112365153629544628000...

It has been meticulously looked after and I even had extra services and oil changes carried out to keep it in perfect condition and everything works. I have all the invoices.

On top of that, this is a 996 with no IMS failure worries as the engine was rebuilt by Hartech (http://www.hartech.org) in January 2011 at a cost of £8k and is still under guarantee. Whilst the engine was stripped down, I had the following carried out: re-rounding the cylinders, supplying and fitting new restraining rings, new latest design IMS, new crank shaft oil jets, new crank shaft bearings, new timing chain set, new chain tensioner rails, new cam chain guides, new hydraulic valve lifters and a low temperature thermostat. The engine feels like new and runs brilliantly.

This is a post on the Porsche Club GB Forum: "If I were looking for one (a 996) I would definitely ONLY consider a Hartech re-built engine. I could not be doing with the worry without knowing someone knowledgable had been through it and made the sensible modifications to reduce the chances of it going again. Hartech as far as I know have never had an engine they've done fail again!"

In absolute honesty, if I was looking to buy a 996 C4 - this is the one I would get. It's as near 'out of the box' condition, as you will find.

I'm in NW London and ... yes ... it really is as shiny as that!
